Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If I want to see my daughter, fly to NY. She is yours for 8hrs

My daughters Mom and I reached an agreement regarding visitations around the holidays. Basically, we alternate. There is a signed schedule on file with the court detailing the specifics, ie. dates, times, and transportation. This year..2002, I'm to have my daughter all day on the 4th of July, I'm responsible for all the transportion on that day... My daughters Mom informs me she and our 4yr old will be in New York and if I want to have her on that day, I'll need to fly from Florida, (where we both normally reside, 2 miles apart)to the airport in NY.

What legal steps can I take now, in order that I might spend the 4th with my daughter in Florida. Thanks for any advice... KI

You can enforce the judgment order visitation provision by filing a motion for contempt/enforcement, asking for the order to be enforced and for her to pay attorney fees. Do it soon; these actions require time.
