Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Our Daughter and her husband our having problems. They have a 27 month old son, they went to a HR Block with a document saying that she gives her husband full custody and had it notarized. We feel she let her emotions get the best of her. Is this document legal ?

No this is not a legal document. Further if she is allowing him to claim her son for tax purposes, she must sign the form provided by the Internal Revenue Service. This document would not be acceptable for that purpose. If she wishes to give up her son, she will have to go through the court system to do so. I suggest you get her counselling and file for temporary relative guardian of the child - but the husband will have to consent.
