Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my daughter left her husband and is going to file for divorce, he is stationed in NC and she moved to florida with us six months ago...she right now has the car in her posession, but he is wanting it back. she needs this car to get the kids to school and to the dr and to look for a job...does he have to supply her with transportation?

In a preliminary hearing on dissolution of marriage petition, a judge will decide how the parties will maintain the 'status quo' pending final division of property. If you were my client, I would say that your daughter gets to keep the car until a judge tells her otherwise.
