Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Our daughter wants to live with her biological mother whom lives in another state. She is 15 years old and is very unhappy and rebellious. She is doing horrible in school. Our thoughts our that she may do better in school if we allow her to live with someone else. Can we allow this with out repercussions later?
