Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My daughter lives in Montna, and had me served in Florida, 2700 mi away, with a TPO, and requests it be extended, or permanent. I am 73 and retired waiting for my property to sell. She asked the court to order me to have a mental competency eval. She is after my assets. She recently had a law suit where she lost and owes $300K at 10% interest, and is on Go Fund Me asking for donations, says seh cannot work, advanced Lymes which has a high rate of psychosis, etc.
I have done none of the things she is accusing me of and she has no proofs. Does a court in Montana have any jurisdiction of me in Florida?

Hire a lawyer. I don't see how Montana can take jurisdiction here.
No, but I wouldn't ignore it.
No they do not however you will need to hire an attorney to respond to the papers in order to have the courts in Montana dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction. If you do not, and I do not know the law in Montana, the case could proceed there and you would be in contempt /default and she could perhaps get control over your person and property.
