Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter is 17 and has a 21 month old child. I have been primary care giver to the child since birth. There is not a fathers name on the birth certificate. If I adopt my grand-child can the biological father take her from me?

Yes. In fact, you probably won't be able to adopt without the father's permission.
