Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter has passed. The father has the children. Can the children and at what age can the children decide and be allowed to live where they choose, father or grandmother.

The children never get to make the decision. The court decides based on the best interests of the children. As the children get older (mid-teens), the court may take their opinions into consideration, but the decision of where to live is never left up to the children.
