Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter is starting in with me. She is getting married the later part of this year out of state. She threatened and slandered me to everyone. She will not invite me to her wedding. Her father is a big part of this mess. We divorced 25 years ago and he is running this wedding. I would like to see if I have any legal areas here. She is my only daughter, and truly don't want to take legal areas against her, but if she slanders me, I feel no other recourse.

unless you are a public figure or this would cause you to become unemployed or not employable, then you have no damage to sue for.

As your only daughter, this is her wedding. If she does not want you there, you and she will have to live with that decision.
