Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When my daughter was 16, a 32 year old man approached her and said he has feelings for her. She is 19 now, and we just found out about this. No sex has been involved. For almost three years, this man has twisted my daughter's emotions, and now she wants to move out so she can see him. Is there anything we can do to force this guy away? Did he break any laws or is it too late?

I suggest you check and see if he is listed as a child pedaphile or other police record. You might find he is and you need to report him. I hope you suggest counseling for your daughter.

Since there was no sexual contact, it doesn't sound like any laws have been broken. You haven't described any illegal acts. Your daughter is a grown woman, so she can make her own decisions. I hope she sees the error of her ways, but, if not, it's her choice.
