Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter's father has filed to move out of state so that his current wife can be closer to family and help out in their store. He works from home so it doesn't matter where he lives. What's the chances the Judge will allow that? I can't just up and move half way around the country.

The Florida statute limits the relocation of the child out of state without permission of the court. If the child is primarily with Mom, not Dad, the court will more than likely allow the Dad to move and modify time sharing to the Out of Area Guidelines. If the child is primarily with the Dad there are specific matters that must be proven and it is difficult usually difficult to move a child from Florida.
