Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I want to go to my daughter's school while I;m in town. The school said they have to have her mother's permission. Her mother is keeping her from me, won't even let her use the cell phone I pay for that they both are using. I pay child support, I have visitation rights but we live 8 hrs away from each other. My child is 9 yrs old. My question is "Do I need her mothers permission to have lunch with my daughter at school?"

If you have paperwork showing you are the father and that you have visitation and you bring government-issued ID, they should allow you to have lunch, but school officials aren't always completely correct when the interpret the law.
