how many days do i have to file an appeal after a grand child has been placed with a grand father?

Under most circumstances, 30 days, but you should check with an appellate family lawyer to make sure your case falls under that rule. Appels cases are very complex and the appellate court can be very unforgiving if you make a mistake. You should never file an appeal without a lawyer.

You have two time lines for this. 10 days to file a statement that you will be filing an appeal. Then 30 days to make that response.
