Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

dcf child dependency case

My children were taken away from me in 2004 due to domestic violence in a relationship i completed all that was required of and moved on to another relationship where i now have a new baby, i was granted supervised visitation in a city that is 2 houre away plus the children never showed up. At first i fought the system and i lost but as i was fighting i was completing my case plan, my children were seperated and i have not seen or spoken to them since may of 2005. i have written letters to judges and govenors and dcf workers and emails and phone calls,it's to the point wher if i step foot into dcf office they tell me they can not do anything unless my case is reopened leave or there will be police officers notified. i'm tired of been yanked around i send my children cards and such but they always come back returned so i don't know anything about my children as far as thier well being or anything to that affect. now the long term relative that has my youngest is being charged with theft from the county i live and he has fled the state with my child how can i get my case opened asap with a different judge and or may i go and remove the child myself and file petion for custody? my case is very complicated and i need help please

Re: dcf child dependency case

That's exactly right: your case in complicated and I suggest consulting with an attorney. Since there is no simple way of fleshing out the facts that lead to such a result over the internet, the best thing to do is to talk with a family law attorney who can try to make sense of what happened before planning what to do.
