Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Dear Sirs:

I am wondering if my ex husband gets on social security disability will I as the alimony awarded spouse get a check also. Will they take my pernament alimony

out of his check like they do at work? Also if he does this and he gets a side job and tries to not pay his alimony,will I have to get an attorney to check his irs filling?

Your alimony will not automatically be deducted from his social security check. Most likely, to get a look at his IRS filings, it will have to be part of a motion for contempt for not paying alimony. You don't, strictly speaking, HAVE to get an attorney for that, but it would be very unwise not to.
