Denial of visitation to non-custodial parent
Wife left,agreement was for the husband to maintain home with kids. He moves into girlfriends home,file for divorce, was given shared parental rights and court ordered visit. Ex will not cooperate-she has not seen kids since August. She went to school(to pick upe kids) with court certified papers the principal stalled her prearranged), called girlfriend, let her take kids out of school. Ex has filed contempt for not exercise visit.A hearing for commit sched. for 1/3/01. He wants her arrested for not seeing her children,has blocked it. Can she file contempt against the school principal for giving the children to the girlfriend? Can she make him appear at the hearing to testify that he was instructed not to let her have the kids? Can she file contempt against the girlfriend for taking the kids? More importantly, how does she make this stop? She and the children are devasted, she is a good person, holds a responsible job, pays child support, but he hates her and wants to have full custody of the children and make sure she never sees them again.I purchased $1600 of non-refundable airline tickets so they could come to visit with their mother for Christmas. Can I sue for the cost of the tickets? are

If father is refusing to allow mother visitation then he is in contempt. Mother should file Motion for Contempt and or Enforcement to be heard on same day as other hearing. Have principal come as a witness.
