What is he liable for as far as child support on this baby? Can he take his name off the birth certificate or is he bound by him putting his name on it willingly? The mother of the baby went back with the biological father but he doesnt have a job where as my son has a really good job. We are all heartbroken over this situation so any advice would be appreciated. thank you

Once again he is not married to this girl. When if she petitions for child support, he will have to request paternity testing to disprove that he is the father. Rather than wait for the inevitable, have your son petition her for custody and paternity. Once that issue is resolved, he can have his name removed and he will not be legally responsible for this child. I am sure that your family has created a bond with this child and are suffering from this as well. God Bless and good luck.
