Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was destitute and have not paid child support for ten years. I recently began recieving VA disability for ptsd, the first steady income in that time. I want to file for coap, get the maximum reduction and begin paying.

I want to determine :

status of warrants if any

evaluation of potential jail involvement

eligability for Compromise Of Arrears Program

assignment of minimum child support and arrears payments

It isn't likely you'll go to jail if you call the Department of Revenue or the other parent and say you want to start making back payments on a schedule you can afford. Jail is usually reserved for those who can pay but refuse.
