Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am trying to determine if I should obtain an attny for a divorce. We have a 12 year old daughter together. Do I need an attny to get child support and alimony?

Would the attny have to be paid up front? Approximately how much of a cost am I looking at for an attny in the state of Florida?

When it comes to children, you should have an attorney. There are no do overs so if you err in your proceedings - you could lose what you need. Alimony - you definitely would need representation on this. Depending on the severeity of the situation and/or if the other party is cooperative will depend a great deal on the fee an attorney would charge. If you are in my area, contact my office for an appointment and I will be glad to discuss this with you.
