Discontinuation of child support

Thanks for the feedback. There is another glitch - while the older child turns 18 in June, the mother had the child retained a year, even though she had passing grades and met promotion criteria. Can she hold me to another year of child support when she didn't ''fail?'' It was the mother's request that she be held back. I was not in agreement but went ahead with her request. Paperwork states that I have to pay until 18 or graduation as long a graduation happens before 19, which is not the case because she will turn 19 afterward graduating. Can I fight this?

You can fight anything, but I'm almost certain the outcome will be that child support stops for that child at 19, since she turns 19 before she graduates. I don't think a judge will care who decided to hold her back a grade.
