disoluttion of marriage

My ex filed for divorce and claimed she would pay the sherrif to serve me the proper paperwork,but she failed to do so. Can she do that?

She isn't your ex until the divorce is final! If she didn't have the sheriff serve, who did? You got the paperwork?

You can file your answer to it (or better still have your attorney it) and you can forget about the sheriff.

If you don't have the paperwork, find out why she didn't pay the sheriff.

Maybe she changed her mind.
