distribution if any of settlement .

I, the husband received a claim settlement just over two years ago due to a car accident that left me partially crippled. How is this distributed during a divorce. My wife has already gone to lawyer and has threatened to take it all.

Your part of the settlement is not part of the fund for marital distribution.
