Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am going through a divorce and I am an American Citizen living in Florida, the man I am divorcing is not an American Resident, he lives in Mexico. The question everybody is asking me how is it that he was able to get a free lawyer through legal aide in Florida?

Cannot answer the question, each county sets its own criteria for Legal Aid. Ask Barack, he sends more money to non-Americans than to Americans.
