divorce child support

we are divorced 3 years now. no child support order. i rcecntly inherited 80,000, now she wants child support. can she use this money against me or does it only go by my income? her income is 100,000+ my income is 20,000

There is only one child, I hope. There was a divorce and no one was ordered to pay child support.

Because, at the time, you were making $20 thousand and she was making $100,000. Wow!

An inheritance after the final judgment has no effect on the final judgment. Furthermore, I doubt it would be cosidered "income."

Sounds like the child would be still living comfortably without your lack of support.
