Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Divorce with children
My sister lives In Miami Florida has 4 children and is in the process of getting a divorce. Her husband who is a police man abused her in front of the children. He is not paying child support and my sister will be loosing the house that they have. His family is trying to use the children against my sister and it is harming them to the point that the oldest child 13 had to be put on medication. My sister has no family or help in Florida. Would it be possible for her to relocat to New York where we her family lives. We don't want her and the children to be in the street and we want to get them away from him and his family. Right now she has a restraining order against him and he as no custodial rights the the children. He also right now has not rights to use his gun because he used it to abuse her. What can we do to help her, but most importatly can she move from Miami Florida to Bronx, New York with her family.
