Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

During a divorce custody battle in Florida, the magistrate ordered a drug test for the mother but not the father. The parents had filed 5 years ago and both parents were drug tested and both came out negative. Only the fathers was recorded on file, somehow the mothers was not pit on record. Is it possible to have the husband retest for drug abuse?

If drug use is an issue then yes you can file a motion to have him drug tested.

Why retest the father? Is the case even still open after all this time? Apparently, there wasn't evidence of drug abuse on the part of the father back then, is there new evidence now?
