Do you have to get divorced in the same county you got married in?

No. The proper venue (location) for a divorce is in the county where the parties last resided together and not where they got married. If both parties agree, however, they can usually file in any county in Florida.
If the spouse was to object, the caselaw is clear that the case should be dismissed if filed in a county other than where the parties last resided together.
