Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Divorce

My ex-wife and I were divorced in Dayton Ohio in 2005. I am military and have been stationed in Florida and she nows resides in Indiana. I am looking at taking her back to court to have changes made in the divorce decree and was wondering what I need to do to have the hearing in either Fl or In instead of Ohio.

Re: Divorce

You'd have to ask an Indiana lawyer if you can file your modification there (and why would she object, since that's where she lives?), but Florida would not have jurisdiction if she objected. The only exception would be if you wanted to litigate only about Florida real estate.
