If the exwife signs a quit claim deed to the marital property, does this cancel any of the obligations declared in the marital settlement agreement as far as splitting the proceeds when the house is sold?

Not if she was tricked, for example if she signed so you could get the house sold for both of you. It all depends on the facts.
