Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Divorce
I filed my own paper work fora divorce and now my spouse is requesting documents and a response, but I already provided copies of all my paperwork to her and the courts. They sent a letter stating that if I fail to comply they will ask for a default judgement. What do I need to do now? This is extremely time sensitive so please respond quickly. Thank you So much

Re: Divorce
NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
You did not say which documents your spouse is requesting but presumably it may be the mandatory discovery including a financial affidavit. If so, you are required to comply with this request or else you may be sanctioned by the court including the entry of a default against you as suggested. You need to comply to prevent this from happening.
