The financing of our home is in my name but the deed is in both of our names. My question is can I have him removed from the house. He is verbaly and emotionally abusive. I care for my disabled brother and need my home. I am looking for work but it is difficult due to my brothers needs. What are my options. Our children are grown, all we have is the house.

If his name is on the deed, then he co-owns the house! You can't remove him any more than he can remove you!
The problem is he is disabled and because of that he is verbally abusive (emotionally too).
Instead of getting him out of the house, you need to actively find him some help. Some social agencies deal with this exact problem. Contact them and maybe they can find a place for him to stay during the day so you can go to work. Like a daycare for small ones.
