divorce [ FL. ]

My husband and i have been married almost 30 years.I am pretty sure hes been having an affair..I can not tell you what it has done to me and my health and mentaly..I was going to file for divorce i fell apart..I have depression have had it for many years and i get suicidal..He tried to push me into suicide this past year..My question is i can not handle a divorce right now..I just can not deal with it right now..Can he get one anyway ? I need time to lear how to deal with it..He was a wonderful husband and father until this gold digger got a hold of him..We moved from denver, co. To fl. To start over she moved here too and moved down the street from us..Most of all can i do something about her ? Keeping her away from him..I am hurt more than words can say but i still love him..I am barley holding on..Thank you for any help.. Billie

Sure he can get a divorce and the sole ground is that "the marriage is irretrievably broken." That certainly seems to fit your situation as you outlined it.

If all you say is true, why would you want to stay in this marriage? With 30 yrs, you would probably be entitled to a fair division of the marital assets and get on with your life

Yes. Florida is a no fault divorce state and either party can file and simply say that the marriage is irretrievably broken. He will have to serve you with a copy of the petition, but otherwise, he can obtain a divorce even if you object.
