That's a big question. The first step should be for you and your husband to discuss things and come to an agreement as to living arrangements, child custody and visitation, money, and property. If that is not going to happen, then you need to decide whether you want to fight to keep the marital home and whether you can pay (possibly with some support payments from him) for your husband's portion of the equity (which he will be entitled to in the equitable distribution of property). If you don't want to or can't and you need to rent something, then it all depends on each spouse's resources, ability to work, etc. There are a lot of issues involved in a divorce, even in something as basic as shelter. If you need to get out immediately and don't have any family or friend, you should contact the social work community in your area (shelters, churches, etc.).
