If I divorce my husband do I get to keep my married name if I choose. I want to have the same name as our two children.

Yes. In your petition for dissolution of marriage you can ask to change your name back to your maiden name. If you want to keep your married name then you simply don't ask to change your name.

You have the absolute right to keep your married name if you wish.

Yes. This is your choice, and yours alone. In fact, unless you ask to change your name in the petition for dissolution of marriage, your married name stays.
