Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Divorce law Florida

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am about to get sentenced to pay about 25% of my gross pay under the current permanent alimony statute Fla 61.08 to my soon to be exwife (a healthy 43yr old).

To me, the entire divorce law in Florida is unconstitutional because its application produces a modern form of slavery, intrusion on the private affairs of citizens and the legislators dictate how judges should act.

Questions:

Is permanent alimony under Florida law legal?

Can this law be challenged at a constitutional level

Best Regards,
