Divorce

I left my husband six months ago because of his abusive behavior, he lives in Florida in our marital home and I live in California. Since we qualify for a simple dissolution, can I still file for a divorce in the state of Florida? Another question is regarding the disclosure of assets. Is this a requirement for a simpe divorce?

You can do a divorce by waiver here with a settlement agreement and you will not have to show up, though he would. You will need to provide him with one of the court approved financial affidavits, and he will have to provide you with one also.
