Divorce

I got married in 1999. We separated in 1999. I am now trying to get a divorce. Up until this time I have been unable to financely take care of this. I never used the married name or changed it on my licenses. How can I go about this so I can get a divorce.

You need to file a Dissolution of Marriage decree. I would contact the Legal Aid Society in your area, as well as the Bar Association in your area. Both agenies may assist you to find a free or low cost attorney.
