Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I'm going through a divorce, I'm the mother. I have a lawyer(pre-payed). We have one 3yo daughter living with me (custodial parent). We have been separated for over a year. My daughter and I have been residing at my moms house since we separated. I've been seeing/dating a man for 11 months that treats my daughter and me very well(my daughter loves to see him). I know we are safe when we're together. We have talked about getting married in the future. I want to move in with him but my lawyer advised " no,not a good idea". What would be the problem? We are probably getting married and more importantly I know my daughter will be safe and happy living together. Please give me some advise.

The problem is --- you are not divorced. Although the only ground in Florida is irreconcilable differences, adultry CAN make a difference in what he can file - he could file for alimony on a temporary basis and YOU would have to pay. I suggest you do the right thing and protect yourself and your daughter by staying with your mom until the divorce is granted. Once you put it out there it will be heck to undo so don't give him the opportunity to make your life miserable by having to pay him for your mistake.
