divorce options in florida

I been married for only 3 months and she wants a devorice. I was wondering if there are in laws pretaing to how long you have to be married before you can file, and is there any other options for legal seperation?

Florida does not have any period of time in which parties must be married before filing for a divorce. They must be residents of Florida for at least 6 months prior to filing.

Florida does not require nor recognize any sort of legal separation as is required in some other states. All the filing party has to do is allege that the marriage is irretrievably broken.

There is no legal separation in Florida. There is no length of marriage time requirement in Florida.There is a 6 month residency requirement.
