Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My divorce papers state I have visitation Monday and Tuesday and every other weekend. And my mother in law is the day care provider for our daughter, which is picks up Courtney from school everyday and I pick her up at her house on Monday and Tuesdays after I finish work. I just received a schedule and get off from work at 2:30pm rather than 5:00pm. I want to pick up Courteny from school on Monday and Tuesdays (which are my 2 days) and bring her home myself - no day care is needed on Monday and Tuesday anymore. My x husband tells me no I can his mother is picking her up from school. Wouldnt I be able to pick her up on those 2 days since they are clearly written my visitation days and i dont done need the after school care anymore.

Thank You

Tracy

If the divorce papers do not prohibit you from picking up the children from the school, I am not sure how or why your ex-husband would want to stop you from spending a few extra hours with your daughter. That does not make sense, based on the facts given.

Notify your ex-husband, in writing, that you will be picking her up and make sure that you are on the list of people authorized to pick her up at the school.
