My divorce settlement said that my ex-husband had to assume the loan on our house. we are both military and the loan was through the VA. It has been 5 months now and he still has not done this. I signed a Quit-Claim deed giving up my access to the house but he has not taken me off the loan. what is the time period he has to take care of this?

The time period is contained in the divorce papers. If it is not, it would be a "reasonable time" as deemed by a judge should you go back to court with this issue.
