Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am currently getting a divorce. im the single mother, enrolled in college, i do not work. I do however get a check from the VA for b.a.h. bc of college. Am i required to put that on the financial affidavit? In my eyes that should not be considered a source of income for child support, i only get that check when im actively attending college, and only while in college, once im done with college i no longer get that check, so therefore i dont see it being fair.

Yes. This money is income. You can point out at the hearing (if there is one) that it is temporary. Note also that since it is not each month but only provided when you are actively studying, you may need to calculate the monthly amount based on the total amount provided each year. If you need further assistance with your affidavit, meet with a local attorney for a consultation.
