Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I want a divorce but my situation is complicated. I live in Florida I was married in RI and had our son in NY. I have full custody of my son with permission to relocate to FL. He is on parole and his conditions are to stay away from me...this is a parole condition not an OP. He is currently in Jail in RI, i work for a law firm but they keep putting me off...I was told i need to domesticate my relocation...How do I even begin to get divorced and how much would something like this cost?

You need to domesticate your order here in the state of florida. Once that is accomplished, you can file for divorice. Why is the law firm you are working for not wanting to help you?
