if im going through a divorce and i want to statr dating someone that is a sex offender but not against a child can the judge take my children

Yes. Dating a sex offender is one of the best ways to lose custody or end up with supervised visitation.

Sure. The judge can consider anythng that affects the children. Why would you want to date a sex offender? I know, he really is a nice guy and is really innocent. What do you think the judge will think about your judgmment?
