Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Divorce timing and child's birth

My son possesses signed papers from his wife for a no-fault divorce but has delayed filing them as yet so the divorce is not final.

He's recently found out his wife is now pregnant with another's child.

If he doesn't file the divorce papers prior to the birth and the divorce is thus not finalized through the courts,

how if at all, is he legally responsibly connected to the child upon birth ?

The legal papers are from Florida but she's now in Connecticut.

Thanks !

Re: Divorce timing and child's birth

If the child is not his biological child, then he is not responsible, regardless. Therefore, he should just get divorced. If she tries to make him responsible, then he should have a DNA test done to prove he is not the father.
