divorce ex will rent my property
Is it ok or will it--name removed--abandonment? The property was mine--name removed--4 we were married. I should--name removed--fine just having him sign a lease?right?

In this case, treat him as you would any renter/lessee, give him a contract and have it properly executed and start collecting rent like you would from anybody else.
