Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have been divorced from my child's father since 2006 we have a divorce/mediated settlement agreement in place where he pays child support, carries insurance and covers half of all expenses. He has never paid any of the expenses, is currently behind on his child support and is no longer carrying any type of insurance on our child which is causing me to have to pay for all doctor visits and prescription costs out of pocket without the benefit of insurance. I have sent copies of all to him and the address he has given me, he no longer lives at and he refuses to give me any address other then his mothers which she refuses any mail of his from me or the court. The few times I have gotten paperwork to him he claims I don't allow him to see our child or have any contact with him which isn't the case at all and unfortunately we can never get this resolved because we are always sent to mediation first and he doesn't show up or shows up 2-3 hrs late. I can not afford to hire another attorney and the last one I had has finally given up because of the run-around my ex and his attorney has given her. My question is what if anything can I do to get this matter resolved in a timely manner and what papers do I need to file?

If your ex has an attorney who has not withdrawn from the case, then you serve the papers on that attonrey by registered mail, return receipt requested. File a Motion for Contempt and set a Notice of Hearing (get the hearing date from the JA to the Judge).
