Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Got divorced in May of 2008. My ex was court ordered to take my name off of his truck loan. He still has not done this and also has been late on every payment since and because my name is listed first on the loan I get all the notices and phone calls. He has ruined my credit. Also because my name is listed first the vehicle is registered to my address and I don't even have the vehicle. What are my options?

The bank has to agree to take the name off. It is not up to yor husband. You should apply to the court for the payments that he missed and try to require the sale of the items or that they be refinanced.

Send a copy of the divorce decree to the credit company - show them you are not liable for his debt. Secondly, head for the court house and get the court to issue an Order that he refinance the debt in order to remove your name completely.
