Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was divorced in 2003. Exwife was awarded childsupport from 03 - 07. I was disabled 100% recieved no income.currently going back to court to modify child support and diviate from support guidlines in florida due to medical.I currently have medical limitations. recently went back to work was not able to pay back support from 03 till previous.Have all documentation to support my medical problems and to verify that i am not able to be a full time worker.I cannot afford a lawyer is there any help available? From 03 to present i have not filed anything thru the courts I now have a massive amount of back child support due. can i do anything to lower or erase the back support owed ? all medical documintation is updated.

You should have gone to court back then, rather than letting it accrue, and had the support adjusted. You may want to file a motion to discharge arrearage and see what happens. Your ex is allowed to waive all back support, or you can try making a deal with her.
