Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am a divorced mother and our child resides with me. Except her dad has the option to pick up our daughter from school. she starts Kindergarten next week and gets out of school pretty early and will need to go to aftercare. Aftercare is 170 a month, dad only gives me 200 a month in child support he has her every other weekend. I would like for our child to go to aftercare and stay until I get off from work but the dad wants to pick her up from aftercare 40 minutes after she would get out of school so she would end up going to aftercare anyway. Is it acceptable for me to state that he should pay for aftercare since he will be picking her up. I have expressed this to him he has ignored my emails. I don't know what I can do legally. Our papers say when child starts kindergarten father may spend time with the child until mother gets off from work and retrieves the child. I also have a clause that says a parent requesting a change of schedule shall be responsible for any additional child care or transportation costs caused by the change. would like for her to stay in aftercare since homework is done with her and it is less bouncing around from school to aftercare to dad to mom. Can you help me in how I should approach this? Also I have no contact clause against him for abusive behavior we are only able o contact about the child via email.

Yes your ex should be responsible for half the after school care.
