Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am divorced. My son spend every other weekend with his dad. If my son get bitten by a dog while being with his dad during the weekend, can I ask for the dog to be removed from that house? The dog is aggresive and my son is afraid of coming back. I had to take my son to an emergency room because of this incident.

You can ask that the dog be removed from the home and the father can also decline to get dog removed from the home. You may try to compromise by asking father to secure the dog whenever the child is around for his visitation schedule to prevent another dog bite incident.
